Community Guidelines / Forum Rules

At Technomantic, we aim to create a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all users to discuss AI, Machine Learning, ChatGPT, and related technologies. By participating in our forum, you agree to adhere to these Community Guidelines.

Please review these guidelines before posting. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.


1. Acceptable Behavior

We encourage the following behaviors on our platform:

  • Respectful Discussion: Engage in discussions that are respectful of all users, regardless of their background, opinions, or expertise level.
  • Constructive Criticism: Provide feedback and criticism in a manner that is supportive and aimed at helping others improve or learn.
  • Helpful Contributions: Share informative, relevant, and well-thought-out posts that help others in the community.
  • Supportive Engagement: Help answer questions and guide others, especially beginners in the AI/ML space.

2. Prohibited Behavior

The following actions are prohibited and will not be tolerated on Technomantic:

  • Harassment or Hate Speech: Posting content that targets individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited. This includes personal attacks, slurs, or threats.
  • Spam: Posting irrelevant or excessive content, including advertising, link spamming, and unsolicited promotional material. Posting repetitive content without value will also be considered spam.
  • Plagiarism: All content must be original. Copying someone else’s work, whether from another forum, blog, or any other platform, without proper attribution is not allowed.
  • Illegal Content: Posting, sharing, or promoting content that is illegal, including pirated software, harmful malware, or any type of content that violates intellectual property rights or local laws.
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else (including other users or Technomantic staff) or misrepresenting your identity is prohibited.

3. Rule Enforcement

We take rule enforcement seriously and aim to foster a community that values respect and constructive dialogue. Our moderation team will enforce the following steps when necessary:

  • Warnings: Users who violate the guidelines will receive a warning. Warnings will be sent via private message or email.
  • Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations may result in a temporary suspension (e.g., 24-72 hours). During this time, the user will not be able to post, comment, or access certain areas of the forum.
  • Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations, including harassment, illegal content, or plagiarism, may result in a permanent ban from the forum. Bans will be enforced based on the severity of the offense.

4. Appeals Process

If you believe that your account was wrongfully warned, suspended, or banned, you may appeal the decision by contacting our moderation team at:

Appeals will be reviewed within 5 business days, and a final decision will be communicated.


5. Responsibility for User-Generated Content

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of any content you submit, post, or share on Technomantic. However, by posting content, you grant Technomantic a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, distribute, and display that content on the Forum.
  • Content Monitoring: Technomantic is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of user-generated content. We do not endorse any opinion, advice, or statement made by users, and you should not rely on such content as professional advice.
  • Removal of Content: We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

6. Respect for Intellectual Property

  • Respecting Copyright: You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload or share does not infringe on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. If you believe content has been posted that infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us immediately at admin@technomantic.com.

7. Changes to These Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated from time to time to improve the user experience or comply with applicable laws. We will notify users of any major changes via email or site-wide announcements. Your continued use of the Forum after updates signifies your acceptance of these changes.
