This one keeps me up at night, honestly. I recently tried a mental wellness chatbot out of curiosity, and while it was polite and technically accurate, something about it felt empty.
It made me wonder: can a machine really participate in decisions that require empathy, context, or emotional intelligence?
Should it even try?
I know AI can analyze patterns in behavior or mood, but when it comes to decisions that affect our relationships, mental health, or even justice outcomes, should we be letting AI into that space at all?
